As a special appreciation for our customers, each month we will draw a company name out of a hat and send a special “mystery gift”. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY is the hot topic. Shingle Manufacturers continue to be on long lead times depending on product and color. We do not expect relief from this issue for the remainder of 2020 due to increased pressure from recent storm damage in SE Texas, Louisiana and other focused areas around the country. There is discussion of limiting or removing colors for 2021 which can help make roofing plants more productive.
Our suggestion is to present colors of products and not lean so heavily on manufacturer specific selling until availability eases up. We will continue to build inventory to meet the needs of the professional roofing contractor.
