GAF Extended Dry-in Membrane is a premium, peel-and-stick leak barrier that can be left exposed for up to 12 months, if necessary, to provide homeowners with an enhanced “dry-in” solution versus typical blue tarps until the GAF roofing system can be installed. Because we value our relationship, we wanted to reach out directly regarding some significant news about our company. DaVinci Roofscapes parent company, Westlake, announced on Sunday that it plans to acquire Boral’s North American building products businesses. The news release is available at www.Westlake.com.
Boral North America is a building products manufacturer of roofing; siding, trim and shutters; decorative stone; and windows. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2021, subject to the receipt of regulatory clearance as well as other customary closing conditions.
The combination of Westlake’s leading building products with Boral’s product lines creates a stronger business with significantly increased scale, greater product and geographical diversity, and enhanced growth prospects throughout the North American building products market. Combined with DaVinci Roofscapes and Royal Building Products businesses, there are immediate opportunities to apply our strategy of vertical integration, while improving operations by sharing best practices across our companies.
Boral North America has 29 facilities in the United States and Mexico that employ approximately 4,600 individuals and we look forward to welcoming these employees into the Westlake family of companies.
